Start your day with a healthy breakfast with the help of #ChefShack

It’s easy to skip breakfast or have a quick slice of toast (which lacks nutrition). Give yourself the energy to kick start your day - Today, we’ll be teaching you how to make Smoked mackerel omelette!

The ingredients you'll need:

  • 3 x Free range eggs

  • 1 x fillet smoked mackerel (flame and check for bones)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of pepper

  • Avocado

  • Lime juice

  • Parsley

Carry out the following steps:


  • In a frying pan, heat oil for 2 minutes

  • Flake your fish and discard any bones

  • Grab a bowl and beat the 3 eggs

  • Cut an avocado into mini squares

  • Pour the eggs and avocado into the frying pan

  • Season with salt, pepper and lime juice

  • Garnish with parsley
