Expected to open spring 2021, Puttshack Atlanta will be first of many in U.S. expansion

CHICAGO and ATLANTA (October 8, 2020) – Puttshack, the country’s only upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience, has started construction at The Interlock, the highly anticipated $450 million mixed-use development in Atlanta’s emerging Westside neighborhood. Puttshack Atlanta is slated to be the first U.S. location for Puttshack and is expected to open in spring 2021. It will join the brand’s three booming London locations and will be followed by openings in Chicago and Miami later in the year.

Joining the dynamic retail mix within Atlanta’s new unprecedented social space, Puttshack will fill its almost 25,000 square feet with four modern and reimagined mini golf courses where every themed hole is its own game. It will also feature an upscale full bar and chef-created dining menu to impress every palate, and an Instagram-worthy-at-every-turn, play-filled environment that will open to an expansive indoor-outdoor rooftop patio space.

A standout from the rest in the competitive socializing space, every Puttshack guest can have it all. Puttshack is a one-of-a-kind mini golf experience, a new concept from the team behind Topgolf, that is matched by upscale, playful food and drinks, all while immersed in a cool environment and vibe that can only be described as Puttshack. With comprehensive, proven safety protocols in place, Puttshack is a destination where everyone wins.

“Our successful launch, and re-openings, in the UK is proof of the power of coming together to play that is at the core of Puttshack,” said Joe Vrankin, CEO of Puttshack. “We are able to safely deliver fun for all our guests through our state-of-the-art safety measures, and we can’t wait to bring this experience to Atlanta and so many more U.S. markets to come.”

Developed by S.J. Collins, The Interlock is a nine-acre community that is walkable from end-to-end. With a carefully curated and versatile mix of tenants, the community boasts 200,000 square feet of technology-focused office space, 105,000 square feet for retail and restaurant space, 349 luxury apartments and 18 townhomes as part of the Solis Interlock, 70 townhomes by Monte Hewett Homes and a 161-room Bellyard boutique hotel with a modern lobby, restaurant and bar.

“Puttshack is the first of many tenant spaces that will begin interior construction over the next 30-60 days as we turn spaces over,” said Jeff Garrison, partner at S.J. Collins Enterprises. “This is an exciting step forward in the progression of The Interlock and certainly a highly anticipated opening for this one-of-kind entertainment offering coming soon to West Midtown.”

The development’s other amenity-rich elements include the public Beeline Crossing Park, one-acre rooftop with a modern private pool club and lounge with a retractable roof. A 12,000-square-foot two-story restaurant and outdoor bar with covered patio and an infinity-edge pool with stunning city skyline views complete the space. The Interlock will also house a 50,000-square-foot incubator space by Georgia Technology Ventures and WeWork’s 120,000-square-foot co-working space.

Located at 1085 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta and planning to open in spring 2021, The Interlock is ideally situated within a 5-minute walk to an abundance of restaurants, bars, retail shops, boutiques and cafes.

Puttshack is expected to open at The Interlock in spring 2021, with locations in Chicago and Miami expected to follow later in the year. Already proven in attracting the younger target demographic, the Puttshack team is continuing its strategic expansion plans, identifying optimal locations in top MSAs across the U.S.
